Silicone Render

A full external refurbishment of a detached home in Stowmarket, replacing worn render with a modern silicone system to enhance weather protection and refresh the exterior.

Scope of Works

1. Substrate preparation

   • Remove existing render, clean brick and blockwork

   • Repair minor defects and apply a bonding primer

2. Reinforcement mesh & base coat

   • Embed high-strength fibreglass mesh into a cementitious render base

   • Achieve a smooth, crack-resistant substrate

3. Silicone topcoat application

   • Apply two coats of K-Rend silicone render in fine texture and the client’s chosen pastel shade

   • Neaten around windows, doors and chimney junctions

4. Detailing & finish

   • Crisp finishing at corners, reveals and eaves

   • Remove protective coverings and clear all debris

5. Final inspection

   • Walk through with the client to confirm uniform coverage and finish quality
