This project involved re-rendering a two-storey cottage in South Lopham to replace old, failing render with a modern silicone system, improving weather protection and kerb appeal.

Scope of Works

Substrate Preparation
- Remove existing render and clean brick and block surfaces
- Repair minor defects and apply bonding primer
Reinforcement Mesh & Base Coat
- Embed high-strength fibreglass mesh into a cementitious base coat
- Level out any irregularities for a uniform substrate
Silicone Topcoat Application
- Apply two coats of K-Rend silicone render in fine texture and specified light shade
- Neaten window reveals, corners and junctions for crisp lines
Detailing & Finish
- Trim and clean up around facias, soffits and other junctions
- Remove protective coverings and clear site
Final Inspection
- Walk through with the client to confirm uniform coverage and finish quality
