Silicone Render

A full exterior refresh of a South Lopham bungalow using K-Rend silicone render to replace aged finishes and enhance weather resistance.

Scope of Works

1. Substrate preparation – remove old render, clean brickwork and apply bonding primer

2. Reinforcement mesh & base coat – embed fibreglass mesh into a cementitious coat for crack resistance

3. Silicone topcoat application – two coats of fine-textured silicone render in the client’s chosen ochre shade

4. Detailing – neat finishing at corners, window reveals and junctions with surrounding materials

5. Completion – clear site, remove protective coverings and conduct a final walkthrough with the client

Materials & Standards

• K-Rend silicone render system approved for long-term durability and vapour permeability

• High-strength fibreglass reinforcement mesh and compatible cementitious base coat

• Primer and bonding agents applied per manufacturer guidelines

• All work completed to British Standards for external rendering
