This project involved rendering a newly built garden wall in Pulham to provide a uniform, low-maintenance finish and protect against the elements.
Scope of Works
Substrate preparation – clean blockwork, remove debris and apply primer
Reinforcement mesh & base coat – embed fibreglass mesh into a cementitious coat for crack resistance
Silicone topcoat application – two coats of K-Rend silicone render in a fine texture and client’s chosen colour
Detailing – crisp finishing at corners, coping stones and junctions with adjacent surfaces
Completion – remove protective coverings, clear debris and walk through with the client
Materials & Standards
• K-Rend silicone render system approved for long-term performance
• High-strength fibreglass reinforcement mesh and cementitious base coat
• Primer and bonding agents applied to manufacturer guidelines
• All work carried out to British Standards for external rendering
