Silicone Render

A refurbishment of the porch and adjoining façade at a detached property in East Harling, replacing aged render with a modern silicone system and improving weather protection.

Scope of Works

1. Substrate preparation – remove existing render, clean brickwork and apply primer

2. Reinforcement mesh – embed fibreglass mesh in a cementitious base coat to prevent cracking

3. Silicone topcoat application – two coats of fine-textured K-Rend silicone render in the specified shade

4. Detailing – crisp finishing at corners, reveals and junctions around windows and doors

5. Final inspection – clear debris, remove protective coverings and review work with the client

• High-strength fibreglass reinforcement mesh and cementitious base coat

• Primer and bonding agents to manufacturer guidelines
